Wedding Planning

My baby and I discussed our wedding checklists last night, we can’t stop ourselves from being so O.C, and since it’s our big day we want to make it as perfect as possible.

Part of being so O.C, I made an excel file with all the list of suppliers and estimated amount. We were shocked when we saw the estimated budget, but both of us are positive about the plan, hoping it will end up as good as planned and expected.

We want to celebrate our matrimonial day in our hometown (Quezon), but since we can’t compromise the solemnity of our wedding we both decided to have our wedding at around 4pm in the afternoon.

I already sent inquiries about hair and make-up artist and bridal-car-for-rent, it’s too early to make inquiries but we are both excited and we can’t help it.

Wedding Websites

I was reading a forum post when I accidentally saw a wedding page link. I was curios and I found out that there is a site that meant for wedding. You can sign up and create your wedding page. You can also put details about your wedding, entourage, photos, wedding suppliers and the like.

Your wedding website is a great place also to put details about your wedding registry, the list of gifts you want to receive. It is advisable because it’s really awkward to put it in your wedding invitation.

So what are you waiting for go on this link http://www.mywedding.com/main/wedding_websites.html and sign up for your own wedding website.

Wedding Registry Tips

As soon as you get engaged try to talk about what you want to receive in your wedding day. Know what your needs are in your new life. Timing is the key secret. They said that it is important to register 3 to 2 months ahead before the wedding day. It helps you both to list and narrow down your preferred gifts.

Know thyself, it’s better to include things that you both really want even though it’s not the traditional wedding gifts, for instance you both love sports, add sport gadgets on your list. Don’t let traditional wedding practices dictates you.

It’s best if you both make time to register on your wedding registry. Together you can chat what is really essential. But before choosing where to register you have to consider different wedding registries, find out what kinds of perks you might get.

The last thing you have to think is how to convey the message to your guests that you have list of gifts in a wedding registry. We all know that it’s awkward to indicate it on your wedding invitation, word of mouth will do. The other best thing to do is to put it on your wedding website.

Wedding Registry really helps a lot of couples.

Bouquet Preservation by Freeze Drying

Preserving memories is not as hard as what you think and it is not impossible.

Your wedding bouquet is one of the most precious memories from your wedding day. Bouquet cost about thousand pesos that good for one day. Does it make sense if you preserve your wedding bouquet?

Nowadays preserving bouquet is done by Freeze Drying. Freeze drying is a method by which water is removed from the flower as water vapor. The process is known as “sublimation”. Freeze drying cannot guarantee a lifetime preservation, it can only promise to last for so many years as long as you put in safe place, away from sunlight, rain and moist.

Freeze drying process is typically 2 to 3 weeks.

Wedding Gift Registry

Wedding day is the most important day for lover, they expect their wedding day perfect and memorable. They want every small detail fine and perfect from wedding dresses, choices of foods, flower selections, give away, wedding invitations, wedding videographer and other.

But how about life after the wedding day, how can we avoid stressful situation like this: “Honey, we have 4 rice cookers, two fridge, 3 oven toaster, 4 microwave oven, 6 sets of plates…etcetera”. “Honey, where can I put those spare?”

To avoid these stressful circumstances, Wedding Registry is the answer. How does it work? Well, the couple should register first before the wedding day. They should have list of gift they want to receive. They have to inform their guests that they have list of desired gifts in the wedding registry. So, it is helpful not only for the couple but also for their guests. Guests won’t be having trouble in picking what item should be given and what is not.

Maid of Honor or shall I say it's Made of Honor?

It’s pretty obvious that I’m an avid fan of chick flicks, I recently watched Made of Honor staring Patrick Dempsey (Tom) as the maid of honor (A guy, maid of honor?). Well the story is all about a guy who is so in love with an engaged woman tries to win her over after she asks him to be her maid of honor. Michelle Monaghan played the role of Hannah, she’s engaged to a Scottish duke.

By the way what is the main role of maid of honor?

Matron of Honor has the most important roles in making sure the bride's and groom's wedding is a success.

Maid of Honor helps bride-to-be to choose perfect location for the wedding. Her presence is absolutely needed in the preparation of a Bridal Shower, she’s may be helpful in making decisions in picking up decorations, designs and other bits and pieces of the wedding. She is the best company of the bride to register her wedding gifts.

On the wedding day, Maid of Honor should check every details and glitches. She must assist the bride in getting into her dress and makeup. She’ll be the one to witness the signing of the marriage license.
